WEBSITE BASED AGRICULTURAL CONSULTATION INFORMATION SYSTEM DESIGN USING PROGRESSIVE WEB APP

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has opened new opportunities for farmers to communicate more effectively with agricultural officers. This research aims to design and develop a website-based agricultural consultation application using Progressive Web App (PWA) technology. PWA offers several advantages over other mobile application frameworks, such as Hybrid (Cordova/Phonegap) and Interpreted (React Native), by improving application performance through caching and delivering a mobile-like interface. This study compares metrics from application testing results to demonstrate the superiority of PWA in agricultural consultation systems.. This research discusses the design of a website-based agricultural consultation application using Progressive Web App (PWA) technology to improve performance through caching and a user interface resembling mobile applications.
