Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, particularly the use of QR Codes, has become an innovative solution for delivering information. QR Codes can store various types of information, such as text, URLs, or other data. This research aims to design and develop a web-based information system utilizing QR Code technology to provide information about plants at Ikraland Paseh Sumedang. Ikraland is a foundation focused on education, social initiatives, and local community empowerment, located in Padanaan Village, Paseh District, Sumedang Regency. Established in 2016, Ikraland spans an area of 3 hectares and offers an ideal environment for outdoor education. This system enables visitors to access plant information by scanning QR Codes placed on each plant. The development method used is Extreme programming (XP), which emphasizes intensive team collaboration and responsiveness to changes. The research results show that this information system, with features such as QR Code scanning for quick and accurate access, a user-friendly and mobile-friendly website interface, and efficient plant data management by administrators, enhances visitors' experience in exploring and understanding plants interactively. Furthermore, the system supports the advancement of information technology in the field of education.
