DESIGN OF IOT-BASED CIKANDUNG SPRING QUALITY MONITORING SYSTEM
Keywords:
Untilization, Irrigation, Technology, Internet Of ThingsAbstract
Cikandung Springs is an important water source for local communities, but the water quality is often not guaranteed. Unclean water conditions can cause various health and environmental problems. Therefore, a water quality monitoring system is needed that can monitor water parameters in real-time to ensure water cleanliness. This research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT) based water quality monitoring system that uses pH sensors and temperature sensors. The system designed uses NodeMCU as a microcontroller to process data sent by these sensors. Data obtained from sensors will be processed by NodeMCU and then sent to the website via the cloud system. With this system, Cikandung spring managers can monitor water quality in real-time and take immediate action if undesirable changes in water quality occur. This system also makes it easy for managers to monitor water quality and make the right decisions in using water from the Cikandung spring. The implementation of this system is expected to improve public health and safety by ensuring the availability of clean water and providing useful data for further research in the fields of water, environment and information technology.
