FRONT-END LEARNING MANAGEMENT DESIGN SYSTEM (LMS) WITH AGILE DEVELOPMENT METHOD USING REACT JS(Case Study: at PT Marka Kreasi Persada (Alterra Academy))

Abstract

Learning Management System or LMS is software for administrative purposes, documentation, searching for materials, reporting an activity, providing training materials for online teaching and learning activities connected to the internet. Direct or traditional education methods are considered less efficient because they face space and time constraints. Therefore, integrating LMS in learning is expected to provide opportunities for students to deepen their knowledge, skills and attitudes through various activities and learning materials provided both by teachers and through the features available in the LMS. Apart from that, this learning media is expected to increase student activities such as observing and understanding material presented by teaching staff, listening to explanations, and sending activity reports or participating in discussions via the LMS platform.  One of the biggest changes that has occurred is the use of technology to facilitate online learning.  The idea of ​​a Learning Management System comes from elearning. E-learning is an education system that uses electronic applications to support the development of teaching and learning activities using the internet, intranet or other computer media.  The system development method used is the agile development method with software development and the React JS library in building the user interface (UI).  The result is a front-end learning management system design with a website appearance that produces implementation and integration of login and logout pages, add user page, notification page, class edit page (admin), class edit page (instructor).
