OPTIMIZING DATA ANALYSIS FOR ENHANCING EDUCATIONAL PERFORMANCE USING POWER BI

Abstract

In the current digital era, data is a valuable asset in various sectors, including education, which is a crucial issue in Indonesia. Educational institutions generate and store a lot of data every day, such as attendance rates, exam results, and other administrative data. However, many institutions have not utilized this data optimally to improve their performance. This research aims to optimize educational data analysis using Power BI to improve the performance of Maribelajar educational institutions. The research method used is a case study with data on student exam scores, student attendance, and mentor performance evaluations integrated from Excel 365 to Power BI. The research results show that the interactive dashboard developed is able to help administrators and academic staff monitor various educational performance indicators more effectively. This dashboard provides informative data visualization and interactive features that facilitate data exploration, thereby supporting better and proactive decision making. Implementation of this solution is expected to create a better learning environment and improve overall educational outcomes.
