DESIGN OF THE IKRALAND NATURE EDUCATION INFORMATION SYSTEM USING USER INTERFACE DESIGN USER CENTERED DESIGN METHOD

The speed of technological development is currently growing rapidly, making it easier for us to search for information. A web profile is an information medium that displays about a company, institution or foundation. Ikraland Nature Education is a foundation that operates in the fields of education, tourism, social affairs and local community empowerment. Information systems are needed in an important role to display information so that it can be reached by users. Therefore, this research was created to design the Ikraland Nature Education information user interface system using the user centered design method which focuses on user needs. The user-centered design method has four stages, namely, Understanding the Context of Use, Determining User Requirements, Designing Solutions, and Evaluating Against Requirements. Using this method makes it easier to create products that truly meet user needs. The aim of this research is to create an Ikraland information system using user interface design, so that users can be involved in creating the system. The research results show that the user-centered design method approach is able to produce a more attractive and user-friendly user interface. So that users feel comfortable when using the website after it is developed. In conclusion, the user centered design method in the design of the Ikraland Nature Education information system has had a positive impact on its management and development. The information system designed is not only functional but also able to meet user expectations, thereby supporting the foundation's goal of delivering education and information to the public.
