DESIGNING A WEB-BASED TASK IMPLEMENTATION MONITORING INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: Kanwil BPN Provinsi Jawa Barat)

Abstract

The Regional Office of the National Land Agency (BPN) of West Java Province is one of the government agencies that is under and responsible to the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency, with the main task of implementing land functions and policies at the West Java provincial level. In the management of data on the implementation of tasks, problems are still found in the presentation and access of information, so that the display of information is not structured, difficult to understand quickly, and does not provide a visual overview of the status of the position. Based on these problems, it is necessary to create a web-based Task Implementation Monitoring Information System that is able to present information in an integrated, easy-to-access, and user-friendly manner, especially in the interface (frontend) aspect with a focus on informative visual display, as well as user convenience. The development of the system uses the Waterfall method which includes the stages of needs analysis to testing. The research results show that the main features of the system, including managing PLT/PLH assignment data, setting periods, monitoring statuses, extending or replacing officials, and creating automatic document letters, have been running according to user needs. Additionally, based on Blackbox Testing, all system functions work well without any functional errors, so the system is considered ready to use and is expected to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and administrative order of PLT and PLH assignments within the West Java BPN Regional Office.
